Free flu vaccines available at football games in May

Free influenza (flu) vaccinations will be available at football games at Optus Stadium, Burswood, in May. This includes FluMist for children under 12.
St John WA will host a pop-up clinic between gates A and B, near the Western Concourse. You must be a ticketholder to enter the stadium and attend the clinic.
You can get vaccinated at the following games, from when gates open:
- Saturday 2 May – West Coast Eagles vs Richmond
- Thursday 7 May – Fremantle Dockers vs Hawthorne
- Sunday 17 May – West Coast Eagles vs GWS Giants.
WA Health is encouraging Western Australians to stay protected this winter through the 2026 ‘Be Wise, Immunise’ campaign, part of the WA Health 2026 Winter Strategy. Flu vaccination is free for everyone during May and June, including those without a Medicare card.
